This painting was the first of this new collection called Telling Stories that came together in the Spring. Desert Blossoms I is all about the flowers and blossoms that I see here in the high desert. I love all of these wildflowers! The ones I’m seeing in my yard are tiny and easily overlooked, so I make them bigger in my paintings, giving them the attention they deserve.
