This guy came to me in a dream (and I don't usually remember my dreams) and I feverishly worked on him until he was finished. I think he's got something to say about persistence. As I was painting him, I kept thinking about the Mexican Gray Wolf that has been released several times and always seems to find his way north of the arbitrarily set boundary of I-40 in New Mexico. He's persistent. He knows where he wants to go. He faces setback after setback and keeps going, no matter what they throw at him. Maybe we should all learn a lesson or two from him.
